Home

My name is Dennis Brown, I am a web and graphics designer working in the Metro Atlanta Area. I have over 10 years experience in graphic design, both freelance and boutique. This web portfolio is intended to introduce you to my work. I specialize in designing high quality graphics for print and web.

In addition to graphic design, I am also a proficient website designer. I am skilled in HTML and CSS and enjoy the process of information architecture, the science behind designing successful web navigation.

I am also familiar with implementing and editing JavaScript, JQuery and PHP. I do not write any of these languages, however, the resources for open code and tutorials are plentiful and I have extensive experience in editing those codes to suit my purpose.

Wordpress is my preferred content management system. I build and customize Wordpress themes to suit specific needs or tastes. I can also design custom pages for Facebook, and create a logical flow of information between websites and social media accounts.

I have extensive knowledge and experience with the Adobe CS4 and CS5 Creative suite. My areas of expertise are PhotoShop, Illustrator, Fireworks, Dreamweaver and Flash. I am also capable of working in both Windows Systems and Mac OSX, although I prefer Mac.

My college courses and extensive background in web design have also taught me many of the necessary protocols for building sites optimized for search engine rankings and accessibility compliance. I am familiar with Section 508 standards, as well as HTML and CSS validation. I am also able to build cross browser and device sites using css and conditional coding.
